The library of games acquired via Steam can be shared with up to five people on ten computers. The game library is always shared in its entirety (unlike the parent mode on one computer, where you can select games from your library, disable online functionality, etc.).
Instructions:
The parent on their computer…
- turns on Steam Guard function
- turns on game library sharing
The parent on the child's computer…
- logs off the child's account
- logs in under their account
- allows the child's computer to use their library
- logs off their account
After re-logging in to your computer for Steam, the child will have games from the parent's library available.
The parent can revoke access to their library at any time from their computer.
