Glowing A-Wing

A kit normally means gluing, filling and sanding. The Bandai A-Wing Starfighter essentially just needs to be assembled. The parts are moulded to very tight tolerances.

The tiny challenge is fitting LEDs into the model. The clear lenses covering the LEDs in the engine nozzles are already supplied by the manufacturer.

Electronics:

  • 3× 3 mm LED
  • 3× 150 ohm resistor
  • 1× battery holder
  • 1× 3 V battery (CR2032)
  • 1× slide switch
  • connecting wire
