3D tištěná letadla

Brno-based 3DLabPrint offers print files of aircraft models and other vehicles.

To “buy” a model means to get the files needed for its 3D printing (STL, 3MF, PDF, FACTORY, GCODE,...). You then have them on the web in your account for repeated downloads without time limit, but with a limit of 20 downloads.

The Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 comes from the design workshop of the related French company Addimp. The printing string was a common natural PLA, the printer was Průša MK3S. The aircraft was made in two copies – the first with the wing fixed with a screw, the second with the wing attached with air rubber. The flight characteristics were excellent, but after landing “on its belly” in the grass, it was almost always necessary to repair the fuselage at the wing root with CA glue.

The A6M2 Zero is from 3DLabPrint. It has similar dimensions to the Sea Fury and flies very similarly. The print string was PolyLight LW-PLA with a print setup for Bambu Studio. Printed on a Bambu Lab P1S (significantly faster and with significantly fewer failed prints). Still, the weight of the printed parts was almost double the weight of the instructions. The take-off weight of the zeros thus reached 965 grams. Therefore, a more powerful motor with modified mounting was used. Compared to the Sea Fury, the Zero can withstand a rougher landing in the grass without damage.
